What a beautiful city! We have been arriving in waves since Thursday. All of the group will be in by mid afternoon. Our hotel is only 1/2 block off of the Royal Mile. At one end of the mile is the old castle King James was born in, at the other end is the palace where the queen still vacations.
Everything is GREEN! You may hear that a lot from me. It rains in the morning and clears off in the afternoon. Evenings are cool, but not cold. The people are very friendly and kind. And at least I have found a few wonderful dining experiences!
We'll get the show on the Scotland road in the morning when we head to Iona, but not before an evening on the town in Edinburgh!
